My goal is to help create a website that works for you. Whether that's just a simple site redesign, or starting from scratch and installing a system that allows you to easily control your site, I can make it happen.
I am dedicated to working closely with you and being extremely accessible. I'm also available for one on one communication when designing and tweaking your site.
Outside of website stuff I love kayaking, rafting, skiing, hiking and having fun in the beautiful outdoors.
Technically speaking I am proficient in HTML (including HTML5), CSS (including CSS3), Javascript, jQuery and PHP. I'm currently teaching myself Ruby and Rails in my free time. I also have some experience with WebGL and several frameworks for it. I've written some tutorials that you can find here. I use the editor Coda when I'm on my iMac, but I use Kodingen and net2ftp when I'm on my Cr-48. I know how to use most Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.
Usually I create websites with the content management system Drupal. It allows me to do just about anything a client wants on a shorter time frame. The look and feel of Drupal sites can be completely custom.
I graduated from high school with an AA degree from the running start program at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. I am currently studying Computer Science and am enrolled in the Honors program at Western Washington University with a 3.9 GPA.
